The Pennridge football team came just short of claiming the District 1-6A title last week but the Rams have a chance to end their season on a high note by ending a Thanksgiving losing streak to Quakertown.

The 96th meeting between rivals on the holiday is set for 10:15 a.m. at Helman Field.

The Rams hold a 58-32-5 lead in Thanksgiving matchups but the Panthers have won the last four – earning a 28-14 last season – and look to claim five straight Turkey Day wins since last doing so from 1947-1951.

Quakertown missed the District 1-6A playoffs for the first time since 2020, going 4-6 against a tough schedule that included two PIAA semifinalists in Southern Lehigh (5A) and North Penn (6A).
