CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - Ditch the PJs and wear something a little nicer, that’s part of a new US Department of Transportation’s suggested push called “The Golden Age of Travel Starts with You.”

USDOT Secretary Sean Duffy says “dress with respect” is one simple way to help cut down on rising disruptions on planes, especially during the busy holidays.

The DOT’s plan is part of an effort to curb disruptive behavior. But telling people how to dress at Coastal Carolina Regional Airport (EWN) is causing some mixed reactions.

“You paid for the tickets, it should be up to you on how you want to feel when you’re flying,” traveler Brandon Phibbons said.
