The New York Federation of Taxi Drivers (NYSFTD) held a press conference in The Bronx on Wednesday, Nov. 26, to call for justice for a cab driver who was critically injured in an early morning stabbing in The Bronx and to announce a $5,000 reward for information on the perpetrator.

Speaking at 90 Lincoln Avenue in the Mott Haven section of The Bronx, Fernando Mateo, spokesperson for NYSFTD said the “savage attack” had sparked a citywide manhunt.

He said taxi driver Osei Kusi was stabbed multiple times and left for dead near Randall Avenue and White Plains Road in the Castle Hill section of the borough early on Wednesday morning and is in critical condition at Jacobi Hospital, where he is undergoing emergency surgery.
