FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WSMV) - Franklin Native and Miami Dolphins linebacker Tyrel Dodson sponsored hot meals for families of FrankTown Open Hearts.
FrankTown Open Hearts said because Tyrel is currently in the middle of the NFL season, his family stepped in to ensure hot meals were delivered to families.
The nonprofit said 70 boxed BBQ meals were prepared and loaded onto buses early Tuesday morning and were delivered directly to FrankTown families at their homes.
This is the second year Dodson has partnered with the nonprofit to provide Thanksgiving meals to Franklin families.
