COLUMBIA — A 46-year-old man is dead after a shooting Wednesday on Triple Crown Drive in Columbia, Columbia Police Department spokesperson Colin Imhoff told KOMU 8 News.
The parties involved have been detained, and there is no active threat to the public, Imhoff said.
KOMU 8 News saw about half a dozen police vehicles at the scene around 7 p.m.
Police were inside a house, and the road was blocked.
The Police Department made a post on X asking people to avoid the area.
