A paedophile church volunteer sexually abused a schoolgirl for four years - and attempted to brainwash her that their relationship was ordained by God. The abuse started when the girl was just 12 years old, and when she begged him to stop, he threatened to share nude pictures of her to friends and classmates.

The 42-year-old man was unemployed and volunteered at a church in Moscow, according to a Russian court report via MKRU. The court heard that in his role he met lots of parishioners, bonding with them over games of table tennis.
