A busy road in Stoke-on-Trent has been closed with witnessing saying a child has been knocked over.

Emergency services, including an air ambulance, are at the scene. A section of Dividy Road in Bentilee has been closed between the junctions of Vowchurch Way and Thurston Way, reports StokeonTrentLive .

When and where did the incident happen?

The alarm was reportedly raised at around 8am this morning.

Dividy Road was closed and a West Midlands air ambulance landed on The Green.
