A Connecticut developer facing a sexual assault charge has been accused of the assault taking place at a party at his Fairfield home following a day on the water with several friends over Memorial Day weekend.
Daniel C. Suozzi, 43, was arrested last week by investigators with the Fairfield Police Department and charged with one count of first-degree sexual assault.
According to the arrest warrant affidavit, a woman who was known to Suozzi and his wife said they spent the day together with several others on May 26 before she found herself alone with Suozzi as she was leaving his bedroom. She said she had just changed back into her clothes after borrowing a swimsuit from Suozzi’s wife so she and others could go in the hot tub.
