A notorious mob boss has resurfaced online after stowing away in Portugal, posting only about his local football team. Ross McGill was living life behind bars in the Dubai desert before being released in September alongside notorious figures Steven Lyons, 44, Stephen 'Jimmy' Jamieson, 42, and Steven Larwood, 42.

The UAE investigated his connections to organised crime before kicking him out of the country and telling him never to return. Now living under the radar in Portugal, The Daily Record has reported the gangster to have returned on X, where he’s begun posting about his old football team, Rangers.

The account, @RossMcG1872, can be seen grinning behind some fresh new veneers posing in a nightclub, and mostly retweets postings from the Glasgow side’s ultra group
