A mother-of-five reckons she'll receive an additional £900 monthly in benefits following the scrapping of the two-child benefit cap in this week's Budget. Stay-at-home mum Lisa White, 31, cares for five youngsters aged between three and ten alongside her partner, David White, 35.

The pair have been depending on Universal Credit and child benefits to get by since David was signed off work due to mental health concerns, and presently receive approximately £1,900 monthly in benefits. Lisa calculates she'll receive a total of £2,770 monthly from April, thanks to Rachel Reeves' Budget.
