A Canadian expat residing in the UK has shared her fondness for a particular feature of the renowned pub chain Wetherspoons - and it's not the incredibly affordable prices. Wetherspoons, one of the largest pub chains in the UK with approximately 800 outlets still running, is a favourite amongst Brits due to its budget-friendly beer and unpretentious atmosphere.

However, according to one expat living in the UK, there's another, perhaps less celebrated characteristic that she "loved" about the chain - the sticky carpets. Canadian Alanna Naps, who resides in Kent and operates the YouTube channel Adventures and Naps where she chronicles her life in the UK, recently delved into the peculiar and fascinating world of Wetherspoons and what she adores about them.
