GREELEY, Colo. (KKTV) - A woman in northern Colorado succumbed to her injuries days after a suspected drunk driver allegedly blew through a red light and plowed into her vehicle.
The collision happened early on the morning of Nov. 9 at the intersection of 23rd Avenue and 10th Street in Greeley. Greeley police say an eastbound Ford Mustang was going more than 100 mph when the driver ran the light and crashed into an oncoming Subaru Impreza.
“The victim was transported to North Colorado Medical Center in critical condition. She passed away Nov. 14 from injuries sustained from the accident,” the Greeley Police Department said in an update Wednesday.
The driver and passenger in the Mustang only sustained minor injuries. The driver has been identified by police as Eduardo Parra-Corral; at 19
