After a sunny and seasonable Thanksgiving Day in North Texas, clouds build for Black Friday, which drops temperatures a few degrees.
Expect highs in the mid-50s for Friday, with only an isolated shower chance during the day, before rain returns later and into Saturday.
Rain returns to the area Friday evening and continues overnight and throughout Saturday.
While not a washout, do expect scattered showers off and on throughout Saturday.
As instability builds during the daytime on Saturday, we could see a few stronger thunderstorms, mainly east, that carry a bit of a hail threat.
Because it is a holiday weekend, with many people planning outdoor plans and/or travel, we have issued a First Alert Weather Day for Saturday to give people that extra heads up of the disruptive rain at times.
