AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - The annual Turkey Trot 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run was held Thursday morning at Citizens Park.

This is the 14th year the event has been held. The race benefits Toys for Tots.

Participants are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys to donate.

There is also a costume contest with people wearing festive or turkey-themed attire.
