A 40-year-old woman from Branson was seriously injured early Thursday morning in a crash in Cooper County, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 2 a.m. at the intersection of Missouri 135 and Lang Road, according to the crash report. That intersection is about half a mile south of Missouri 135's intersection with Interstate 70.
The woman's vehicle went off the side of the road, hit an embankment, went airborne and overturned, according to the crash report. The woman was ejected from the vehicle. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the crash report.
There were no other vehicles involved, according to the report.
The woman was taken by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia, according to the crash report.
