SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - For some, a great way to burn off those holiday calories is to go for a run.
The cold weather can have positives and negatives for those who choose to exercise outdoors. At the same time, many find the forecast a great excuse to read a book by the fire.
“About perfect, very little wind and the temperatures about right,” said Mike Strozewski, who ran with his family in the Turkey Trot.
Others find the chill and brisk weather the perfect conditions for running.
“We want to run with the flock; we want to burn the calories before we eat them,” said Ryan Goeden, who ran with his flock.
