Steinert fought off a strong, first half defensive effort by host Hamilton, scoring three second half touchdowns, to defeat the Hornets 28-3 in the two schools’ 67th annual Thanksgiving Day clash.
The win maintains Steinert’s recent domination over Hamilton in the series, as the Spartans have now won the last four meetings.
While Steinert was able to pull away in the second half, the game exhibited all of the hallmarks of the Hamilton-Steinert Thanksgiving Day rivalry, including its mandatory hard hits and high intensity.
