A woman accused of a vicious assault at a Northwest Miami-Dade restaurant may need to go to a hospital so doctors can evaluate her.
Damaris Rodriguez, 22, is homeless. She was unresponsive during a bond court hearing Thursday. This raised some concern about her health.
"Judge, I do not believe she's understanding; she's not very coherent," a courtroom representative said during the hearing.
Rodriguez was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. She was already out of jail on bond for drug and trespassing charges.
Surveillance video from inside a restaurant captured a fight between Rodriguez and the alleged victim Fritanga Pinolandia Wednesday. The victim was stabbed and taken to the hospital, deputies said.
