MT. MORRIS, MI- More than 1,000 vehicles arrived to The Mounds ORV Park for a day of mud bogging and rock crawling before it was time to carve Thanksgiving turkeys.
The cold and windy weather didn’t stop off-road enthusiasts from attending the annual Moundsgiving event on Thursday, Nov. 27.
There were 1,200-plus vehicles this year at the 230-acre space, bringing friends and families together to traverse dense woods, massive mud pits and rocky terrain in off-road vehicles.
Genesee County Parks Operations Manager Anthony Walter explained what brings so many drivers back each year.
