SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Thanksgiving meals were offered up on in communities all across Siouxland Thursday, including at The Gospel Mission in Sioux City.
Each Thanksgiving, The Gospel Mission hosts breakfast, lunch, and dinner; executives it cost around $1,000 to put all of those meals together. The meals were open for anyone in the community who wanted to come by and enjoy a nice holiday meal.
The Gospel Mission says that the meals were made possible because of the generosity of the people of Siouxland.
“We don’t take any government funding, so everything we get is through generous donors; whether it’s churches, food drives, or just people who come along and want to purchase us groceries, we’re blessed through their generosity,” said Nate Gates, the Associate Executive Director of Ministr
