WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA - Known for its flagship app Tinder, online dating powerhouse Match Group is now developing a new Bible app that allows readers to swipe left when they find an undesirable Bible verse. The app - called Bible Tinder - will also allow people to swipe right on Scriptures they like, but would prefer out of context. Liked verses are added to a folder where they can be made into coffee mugs, t-shirts, necklaces, and tattoos.
Among its many features, Bible Tinder users can sync up their Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and other social media profiles with their account to receive customized suggestions based on their online behavior. For instance, users who publicly profess to be pro-choice will receive an automated prompt that reads, "It looks like you are in favor of abortion.
