Breathitt Co., Ky. (WYMT) - Brandon Hayes is stepping into his fifth season as the head coach of the Breathitt County Girls Basketball team.

The Lady Bobcats enter the 2025-2026 campaign off of an 18-12 season in which they won the 55th district championship and made it to the 14th Region semifinals.

Breathitt County returns leading scorer and second-leading rebounder, Lexie Combs.

As the Bobcats inch closer to the start of the year, they feel their strength will come from their defense and rebounding.
