Homewise Inc. is asking Santa Feans to weigh in on a potential development.

Many residents found postcards in their mailboxes recently, urging them to participate in a new survey: "Share your thoughts on the future City Different!" the flyer said.

After facing intense community pushback to some of its housing projects, including a planned development on former Santa Fe County land on South Meadows Road, the nonprofit developer and homeownership assistance organization hopes to gather a broad range of feedback before moving forward with plans on a plot it owns in the contentious Area 1B.

The possible development, in an area just outside the city's northwestern limits that long has been planned for annexation, could be one of Homewise's largest in Santa Fe, along with Phase 3 of the Tierr
