Smith graduated from Monroe High School in 2020 and began working at Brookdale in 2022. She is known for her positive attitude and dedication to the residents, according to the announcement.
In his nomination, Barron highlighted Smith's commitment to her work, often working 16-hour shifts. She takes the time to learn about each resident and their individual needs, often surprising them with small gifts or treats.
