Arch Manning and the Longhorns, the preseason No. 1 team in the US LBM Coaches Poll, will need a win to keep their playoff dreams alive, as a fourth loss would almost certainly eliminate them from contention.
At 11-0, Texas A&M is off to its best start since 1992 and is one of just three undefeated teams at the FBS level, along with No. 1 Ohio State and No. 2 Indiana. The Aggies will be looking for their first win in the series since 2010, though the rivalry took a 13-year break after Texas A&M left for the SEC following the 2011 season.
