Bournemouth are confident Antoine Semenyo will be able to make his return from injury against Sunderland.
Semenyo missed last weekend’s comeback draw against West Ham after aggravating a previous ligament issue around his ankle and shin while on international duty with Ghana .
The 25-year-old has established himself as one of the most impressive forwards in the Premier League this season having netted six goals and registered three assists 11 appearances so far.
In his absence against West Ham, Marcus Tavernier and Enas Unal stepped up to rescue a point for the Cherries and avoid a third straight defeat .
But Semenyo has made a swift recovery, though it remains to be seen if he will start the game at the Stadium of Light.
