UK weather map forecasts snowfall for various regions

Britain faces a 30-hour snow blast as a new weekend icy weather front brings the UK freezing rain and plunging -5C temperatures. The Met Office already has a number of yellow warnings for rain in place over the weekend and into next week, with one lasting until midnight on Saturday covering London and the South-east, the Midlands , the South-west and Wales .

A second yellow rain warning covers South Wales and South-west England and lasts from midnight on Sunday, November 30, until 3pm on Monday. A third, for all Southern England, starts at 8am Monday, December 1 and lasts until 6am Tuesday, December 2.
