LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A cold rain will continue to impact plans and activities on Saturday.
However, a little further down the road, colder air and a weak storm system could produce light wintry precipitation in Arkansas Monday into Monday night.
Considering the timing of the chance of rain and wintry conditions, a Weather Impact Alert is in effect for Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning.
Timing differences and precipitation type remain in question since we're roughly four days out from the possibility.
Both the GFS and EURO model differ on timing, but both place the best chance of any frozen precipitation over the northern half of the state.
Temperatures will be close to freezing during precipitation on-set. This is not expected to be a major winter storm, but any weather system
