SAN MARCOS, Texas (KCBD) - After an avenged loss against Temple Centex and a blowout win over the WILCO Falcons, the Lubbock Titans playoff run comes to an end as they fall to the Saints of Lantana Harvest Christian 34-28 Saturday at the TAIAO Division II State Championship San Marcos Academy.

While trailing early on, Titan Hunter Zavala accounted for scores on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. When the Saints had a 34-20 lead late in the game, the Titans were able to make it a one score game.

This was the second-straight year for the two teams to meet in the state championship.
