Meet HS football coach hoping to pay it forward amid dad's Alzheimer's

Bobby Klinck never knows when he’ll get a good-luck text from his dad.

Or if he’ll get one at all.

Over the past few years, the game-day messages have become increasingly sporadic, even as Klinck and his Sand Springs High School football program have become increasingly successful. A season after falling just one win short of the state finals, they have beaten every Class 6A-II team on their schedule and hope to add another Friday night in the state semis.
