Police in Crawley are appealing for assistance following a disturbing incident in which a man was allegedly raped and robbed in the town centre. The attack occurred in the early hours of 15 October, at an address on High Street. Sussex Police have released CCTV images of a man they wish to identify in connection with the case. According to the police, the victim, a man in his 30s, was assaulted and had his watch and cash stolen by the suspect before he fled the scene. Detective Inspector Becki Buckley stated, "We are continuing to make extensive enquiries in this case and are keen to trace this man. If you know who he is or have any information about him, please contact us." The victim is currently receiving support from specially trained officers as the investigation progresses. Authorities urge anyone with information to report it online or call 101, quoting serial number 119 of 15/10.
