The North East is being warned to expect a lot of rain and hail this weekend, with Saturday forecast to be the wettest. And snow is also coming to the region once again.
Following last week's cold snap, when the North East saw widespread snow and disruption, the weather improved. However, temperatures are set to dip again, bringing the white stuff to some places.
The Met Office forecast for Saturday, November 29, says it will be "cloudy with spells of rain perhaps becoming more persistent and, for the Pennines, wintry". The maximum temperature will be 6C. This comes as ChronicleLive explained exactly where and when snow will fall.
