An NJ Transit bus slammed into a utility pole on Thanksgiving morning in southern New Jersey, authorities said.

The bus crashed at 9:45 a.m. Thursday on Broad Street at Taylors Lane in Cinnaminson, the township fire department reported on Facebook .

The bus was empty and the driver wasn’t hurt, the fire department said. The bus and pole were severely damaged, the post said .

The road was closed for five hours, according to the fire department.

The Cinnaminson Police chief didn’t immediately reply to an email Friday looking for the cause of the crash.

The Delran Fire Department assisted Cinnaminson firefighters and volunteers, the Facebook post says .
