A care home has been forced into special measures for the protection of residents. Arncliffe Court Care Home in Halewood was found to be in breach of regulations around safe care and treatment , consent, staffing, and infection control when inspectors from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) assessed the site in August.

The home provides care to adults of all ages, some living with dementia . 101 people were living at the home at the time of the inspection in August. The facility was previously rated good across all areas, but is now failing to meet the CQC’s standards and has been rated inadequate.
