KINGS PARK WEST, Va. — Four people, including one firefighter, were in the hospital Saturday morning after crews rushed to put out a house fire in Kings Park West and rescue two who were trapped inside.
Firefighters from both Fairfax County and the City of Fairfax Fire Department responded to the house fire on the 5400 block of Guinea Road, classified as a two-alarm fire overnight.
By 3 a.m. on Saturday, Fairfax County firefighters reported that the fire was under control and the two people had been rescued. Four people, including one firefighter, were taken to the hospital.
Among the three civilians in the hospital, one had "life-threatening" injuries. The other two in the hospital and the firefighter had "non-life-threatening" injuries, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.
