ALLEN PARK -- Dan Campbell said Frank Ragnow warned them he had something going on with his hamstring when discussing his plans to unretire.
But the Detroit Lions weren’t aware of the severity until Ragnow arrived for meetings and medical tests on Friday. After ending his retirement on Wednesday, instilling real hope, Ragnow will not rejoin the Lions after all, due to a failed physical.
The Lions announced on Saturday that Ragnow had a Grade 3 hamstring strain that would keep him out for the rest of the season, “and for that reason, Frank will not be rejoining the Lions.”
