Ryan Ellis ended the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season with a solid result at Phoenix Raceway. Ellis brought the No. 71 car home with a 21st-place finish after not showing much pace throughout the campaign. The DGM Racing driver failed to make the 2025 Xfinity Series playoffs.
Ellis completed the year with one top-10 finish, a 24.4 average finishing position, and a last-place finish among full-time drivers in the point standings. It wasn't a horrible season for Ellis, but there could've been more success compared to the other full-time drivers.
The driver of the No. 71 car has a new home for 2026 as he will run the full season with Young's Motorsports. Is unclear who will join Ellis as Young's Motorsports, but he does have a multi-year contract. Ellis hopes 2026 brings more success, and a new ride could be exactly what he needed.
