Irvine senior Summer Wilson set the CIF State Championships girls cross country record with her winning time of 16 minutes, 20 seconds on Saturday at Woodward Park in Fresno.
Wilson broke the record of 16:31 set by Claudia Lane of Malibu in 2017. Wilson, who this season also won a CIF Southern Section championship, signed with Duke.
Oliver Hunter continued the Dana Hills tradition of winning a CIF State cross country championship.
Dana Hills senior Oliver Hunter won the Division III race with his time of 14 minutes, 55.3 seconds.
Evan Noonan represented Dana Hills when he won CIF State championships last year and the previous two years.
