WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - An 18-year-old man, a Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office deputy, and a 69-year-old woman were attacked by several dogs on Saturday morning.
At 10:08 a.m. on Saturday, Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 4600 block of South Hemlock in the Oaklawn neighborhood following reports of multiple dogs attacking a man.
When the deputies arrived, they found between 10 and 15 dogs running loose. The dogs are believed to be Boston terriers.
One deputy tried to help the 18-year-old man being attacked, leading to the dogs attacking the deputy. Two deputies fired their guns to protect the deputy and stop the attack, however, no animals, people or property were shot.
