HUTCHINSON, Kan. (KWCH) - Friday night’s state championship game brought out a crowd in Hutchinson as Andale and Hayden faced off for the second year in a row.
It wasn’t an ideal night for the weather with strong winds and rain expected overnight; but that didn’t stop people from coming out to support their teams.
“My son Brody Kelp is out here playing tonight as a senior,” said Rob Kelp.
“I’ll come to support Andale anytime, anywhere,” said Darius Hancock.
Hutchinson Community College says the weather does have them worried about tomorrow’s game.
“Tomorrow will be a challenge,” said Ken Schmucker, who was representing the college. “With the game at 12, 1 o’clock, depending what the weather does in the morning. Rain, a little bit of snow, and it’s supposed to be really windy tonight.”
