CLINTON, Tenn. — Locally owned businesses across East Tennessee showed out for Small Business Saturday, including Historic Downtown Clinton .

"Small Business Saturday is just an exciting day for people in the community to come out and support the shops that are on Market and Main street in Clinton, and we have a few sprinkled out around town," Mollie Farrar with Hoskins in the Flat , said.

The businesses on Market Street made sure to put their best foot forward in preparation for the event, and made sure people knew how much of an impact they make on the local economy.

"When you shop small with my store, you're supporting over 40 other small businesses. Which, I love, and I think is really special," Dawn Rader, Owner of Joy in the Dawn , said.
