After defeating No. 7 Louisville in straight sets on Wednesday, Pitt volleyball was one step away from clinching at least a share of its fourth consecutive ACC championship. All the Panthers needed was a win against a Georgia Tech team they had already beaten.

Pitt did just that, sweeping the Yellow Jackets 25-23, 25-19, 25-7 in Atlanta to close out the regular season. The victory secures at least a share of the ACC title. Pitt has won seven of the past nine.

Pitt set the tone early in the opening frame, using a 6-0 run behind Marina Pezelj’s two kills and a block to jump ahead 11-3.
