COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. — It's hard to stop a wide receiver like Dylan Wheeler in the red zone.
Monmouth College found that out the hard way in a 49-15 NCAA Division III second-round playoff game loss to No. 7 St. John's on Saturday, Nov. 29, at Clemens Stadium.
Wheeler, an All-American pick last season and sure to be one again this season, had 10 catches for 144 yards and a school playoff-record four touchdowns in the resounding victory in front of 1,659 hearty fans who sat threw light snow the entire game.
Despite the snow messing with his footing a few times, Wheeler said he was able to overcome it, along with a few hard hits from the Fighting Scots' secondary.
