Two separate crashes caused traffic headaches on major New Jersey highways Saturday evening, Nov. 29, the state Department of Transportation said.
The first crash happened at 6:42 p.m. on Route 80 westbound west of Exit 27 (NJ 183/US 206) in Mount Olive Township. Two right lanes of the three-lane highway, along with the right shoulder, were closed, according to DOT.
Minutes later, at 6:49 p.m., a crash with property damage blocked the left lane on the New Jersey Turnpike Eastern Spur northbound south of the Northern Mixing Bowl in Ridgefield, officials said.
Delays were reported in both areas. No information on injuries was immediately available.
