HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - Small business Saturday is underway and this year, Middletown is kicking off its biggest holiday season yet.

Their annual holiday vendor fair is all about encouraging people to shop local and support the small businesses that keep this community thriving.

“I love small business Saturday,” said Tony Baker.

From hand-crafted artwork and homemade sweets to hayrides, holiday music, and smiles that stretch down Main Street.

Main Street in Middletown has transformed into a holiday pop-up vendor fair all to remind shoppers that local businesses need their support this season.

“It’s just a way for you to get the community to come out and support businesses, artists and local people,” added Baker.
