A fire swept through a multi-story apartment building in the Kyiv region after a Russian drone attack overnight Saturday, according to local authorities.

Smoke billowed from the building in Vyshgorod as firefighters worked to put out the blaze which affected multiple floors.

Emergency workers were seen at the scene.

At least one person was killed and at least 11 injured – among them a child, the head of the Kyiv region administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, said on Telegram.

The attack came hours after an intense aerial barrage Friday night which killed at least three people.
