AROUND THE OZARKS (KY3) - This weekend began the Christmas season for many, and certain groups of farmers are getting ready for their busiest season.
Christmas tree farmers across Missouri are preparing for what many consider their most important time of year, offering families the increasingly uncommon experience of finding and cutting their own holiday trees.
“I get to experience a lot of Christmas stories that people have to say. It’s really nice to hear the stories people come in with every single year,” said a representative from Cole’s Tree Farm in Lebanon.
At Cole’s Tree Farm, visitors can walk around the property to select and cut their own Christmas tree. The farm offers what’s becoming a rare opportunity for families to create their own holiday traditions.
