Syracuse, N.Y. — Gia Kinsey has found a quick and comfortable new home with the Jamesville-DeWitt girls basketball team.

Kinsey, one of the best young players in Section III, dropped in 19 points to carry the Red Rams to a 57-39 decision over Central Valley Academy on Saturday in the Henninger Tournament.

Kinsey, a freshman guard, earned all-CNY honors as an eighth-grader at Liverpool last year. She was listed on the Legends roster as recently as two weeks ago before transferring to J-D.
