With cold temperatures in the forecast that may refreeze snow and slush from the Thanksgiving weekend snowstorm, some places in the metro are changing plans.

The Riverfront's Holiday Lights Festival opening ceremony was supposed to kick off the season on Saturday. It has since been postponed to Sunday.

Music will begin at 5 p.m., and the lighting ceremony is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Metro Transit will end services at 8 p.m. on Saturday and start services at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday.
