‘Worst of the worst’: Man accused of having ‘awful’ sexual abuse material of babies on his phones

CINCINNATI ( WXIX /Gray News) - An Ohio man is being held on a $1.9 million bond as he faces nearly 20 child sex abuse and porn charges.

Robert Shepard, 50, of Cleves, made a court appearance on Wednesday.

He faces one count of illegal use of a minor or impaired person in a nudity-oriented material or performance, and eighteen counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor.

On April 7, the Hamilton County prosecutor’s office said the sheriff’s office got a cybertip that resulted in a search warrant for devices in Shepard’s possession.
